Pit 84: Level 2

Completed September 7, 2015 by Jocelyn and DC Locke, Odess and David Brinkman. Level 2 gave us large numbers of window glass, nails, and brick. We expected this since we are on what we think is the north wall of the house. There was also a good number of kitchen pottery pieces. We also ran into a patch of charcoal pieces in the center of the pit. There was no dark feature so this was not a fire pit.

Pit 84: Level 2 produced: 19 pieces of pottery, 55 pieces of glass, 13 nails, 50 pieces of charcoal, and 1 Native American pieces.
