Sarah Friday's 1810 Granby Drawing

Lewis Pau

Revolutionary War veteran William Lewis Pou’s grave is at Hebron Southern Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. Pou was active in the Granby community, as can be seen in a letter in which Pou and his neighbor Henry Seibels served as commissioners for the county. Other records in the South Carolina Archives show Pou taking civic responsibilities in many issues of the time, including overseeing repairs on the Granby courthouse and jail.
