Seibles Burying Ground
In the late 1950's, the headstones of the Seibles burying ground were moved to another location to avoid being covered by a quarry slag pile. Below is this newer memorial:
Seibels Burying original ground site: Status: Under a slag pile. Archaeology is not allowed on graves. Location in the Quarry property is (Click here to see this location on a map)
Seibels Burying ground new site: Status: In 1957, the headstones of the Seibels burying ground were moved to another location to avoid being covered by a quarry slag pile. The old stones, and a new monument, surrounded by a stone wall, are now the location (Click here to see this location on a map)
