Pit 12: Level 2

Completed August 25, 2012 by Jocelyn and DC Locke, Odess, and David. Artifact recovery died quickly in level 2 except for some more small brick fragments. Once again, it looks like the hot area of the lot is in the north-eastern corner toward Friday's Ferry. We don't hold out much hope that anything will be found in level 3 but we will give it try tomorrow. The wet soil make sifting very slow today so we were not able to start level 3.

Pit 12: Level 2 produced: 1 piece of glass, brick fragments, and a couple pieces of charcoal.
