Pit 31: Level 1

Completed by DC Locke, Fred Morrison, and David Brinkman. While cutting the ground we ran into the worse tree roots we have seen and about 10 pieces of ceramic pipe which we think may be discarded outlet pipes for a septic tank. We decided not to count this as pottery which would have put us over the 1000 pottery piece milestone. There was one piece of pottery found at the end of the level 1 by DC so he gets recognized as finding pottery shard number 1000!

Pit 31: Level 1 produced: 10 pieces of ceramic pipe, 1 piece of pottery, 4 pieces of glass, and 2 nails.
